A Sacramento Tradition for 22 years!

Businesses and Individuals throughout the Sacramento Region demonstrate commitment to community service every day. But too often these good deeds go unrecognized. In 1989, the Community Services Planning Council initiated the People Helping People Awards to promote community service and to assure that the civic contributions of time, talent and resources by businesses, civic organizations and individuals were honored and encouraged.

The 2010 People Helping People Awards luncheon will be held April 22, 2010 at the Radisson Hotel Sacramento.

The 2009 event drew more than 500 Sacramento area business and community leaders to honor the 50 plus nominated companies, civic organizations and individuals for their exemplary service to the community. These organizations and individuals set the standard for all of us.

Proceeds from the People Helping People Awards event benefit two Community Services Planning Council programs, Hands On Sacramento and 2-1-1 Sacramento.
