The Community Services Planning Council relies on volunteers in
many different ways.
Community Volunteering through Hands On Sacramento
Hands On Sacramento (HOS) offers one time, high impact volunteer opportunities. Hands On volunteers make their mark on the community by participating in projects that help tutor our children, beautify our parks and feed the hungry. Click here to visit Hands On Sacramento website.
Volunteer Boards, Commissions and Councils
Volunteers serve on various boards, commissions and councils
that address a variety of community needs from health
education to access to services. Visit the Policy and Advocacy
page to read descriptions and learn how to become a member
of a board, commission or council.

Information and Referral Volunteers
2-1-1 Sacramento is a comprehensive, multilingual telephone information and referral service.  Using a computerized database of more than 2,400 community services, trained staff, volunteers and interns help callers find the resources they need.

California Immunization Registry Regional Coalition
Since 1994 California Immunization Registry volunteers have worked to identify and remove barriers to timely infant/toddler immunization within Sacramento, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Yolo, Sutter and Yuba Counties. Anyone concerned about the health of our region's children is welcome to join the awareness and education, partnership, policy outreach or registry committees. Click here to find out more.
