Established October 25, 1994, the Sacramento County Public Health
Advisory Board has as its primary role advising the Board of
Supervisors and/or the Human Services Coordinating Council in all
major policy matters concerning the nature, scope and extent of
public health.  In that role the PHAB identifies local needs and
priorities, encourages the development of appropriate services,
and acts as a forum for issues regarding public health and primary
care.
