Membership
and Community Information
The
HIV Health Services Planning Council is always interested in meeting
interested individuals who want to work to improve the quality
of lives of people living with HIV/AIDS in the Sacramento Transitional
Grant Area (TGA). If you, or someone you know would like to get
involved in setting priorities, planning services and allocating
federal funding, please fill out an application and contact the
Planning Council using the information at the bottom of this page.
Members
of the HIV Health Services Planning Council are volunteers from
the four counties that make up the Sacramento TGA (El Dorado,
Placer, Yolo and Sacramento Counties). The Planning Council has
created a Member Reimbursement policy to ensure that costs associated
with participation on the Planning Council (such as travel, childcare,
etc.) will not become a barrier to participation and advocacy.
Also, the Planning Council has, in compliance with the Ryan White
CARE Act, created a grievance policy for members and the general
public should the need ever arise.
