Using data from the Human Services Information System, CSPC staff developed a matrix ranking Sacramento County communities by ZIP Code on nine different demographic and social indicator factors. Indicators include rate of teen births, rate of CalWorks cases, rate of Foster Youth and more. Each of the nine indicators as well as the Composite Index is mapped separately by ZIP Code.

A Profile of Older Adults in Sacramento County California 2004, August 2004
The first compilation of social indicator data that profiles adults ages 60 and older in Sacramento County. Includes maps, charts and graphs, population data and projections, information on income and housing, transportation, civic engagement, health, and safety net services.

A Regional View of Social Disparities, May 2004
A visual examination of the socio-economic status of the Greater Sacramento Region (8 County Region).  This report examines the spatial distribution of the demographic, social, economic and educational characteristics of the people who live in the Greater Sacramento Region.  The Greater Sacramento Region is defined here as El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba Counties.  There are 44 maps contained in this report of the eight-county Region.
