Adult and Aging Commission

The mission of the Sacramento County Adult and Aging Commission is to advise the County Board of Supervisors on matters relating to dependent and older adults through its roles as advocate, system oversight body and a voice in the community. The Commission accomplishes its mission through the efforts of the committees and coalitions they have developed over the years. Currently, there are five standing committees:

  • Executive
  • Nominating
  • Oversight
  • Program Review, Outreach, and Development Committee (PROD),
  • and two coalitions, Community Housing Coalition and Community Transportation Coalition.

The committees and coalitions are comprised of Commissioners, community-organizations, and/or community members. If you are interested in becoming a Commissioner or attending meetings as a community member, please contact the Adult and Aging Commission office.
